"I don’t think people realize how hurtful of a word ‘still’ can be. So many times people have asked me if I’m ‘still’ chasing my dream of being on television, with a tone that implies I’ll eventually be giving up."

Someday I do want to get married. To fall in love the way you fall asleep, slowly, and then all at once.

But for now, there is so much in the world I have not seen and so much I want to do and so many ways my relationship with God can grow. Therefore, now I am perfectly content and happy being single and unattached.

I can literally do anything. Go anywhere. Live anywhere. And I’m going to take advantage of this adventure for the rest of my life no matter what happens.

I don’t care if it’s a sad good-bye or a bad good-bye, but when I leave a place I like to know I’m leaving it. J.D. Salinger, The Catcher in the Rye (via larmoyante)

Some people think that a place can save them. Like if they could just be somewhere else, their lives would be totally different. They could finally be the people they always wanted to be. But to me, a place is just a place. If you really want things to change, you can make them change no matter where you are. Hannah Harrington, Saving June (via larmoyante)
